The Archive of People

Interactive Archive for Jungian Archetypes

2026

The Archive of People uses journalism to archive personality types and test the boundaries of algorithms. By categorizing users into four cardinal archetypes and customizing their information streams, the project demonstrates how branding psychology subtly influences our news intake and distorts our perception of reality.

Explainer for the project

Concept

Blending the delicacy of art nouveau with the modern minimalism of website design, The Archive of People infuses a structured digital experience with a soul. It is a visual invitation to delve into Jungian archetypes and confront the forces that shape our unconscious minds.

Icon design for different news topics

Process

The website design starts from the grid system in Figma. The design leverages traditional news hierarchies to establish a sense of realism. The deliberate mix of photography and AI-generated art serves a dual purpose: to finessing the site’s aesthetic and to experiment with how media formats shape our collective worldview.
